Located where the Alps meet
the Mediterranean with views of both and only a short drive
from Nice airport.
The Villa is situated within a flat five minute walk along
a mainly pedestrian road of Tourrettes sur Loup.
Tourrettes, (cite des violets), is a medieval village perched
on rock with dramatic views of the countryside down to the
sea. There are shops, galleries, bars and restaurants
as well as butchers, bakers and greengrocers. Tourism has not
submerged the local character of the village and the square
bustles with activity including almost continuous boules games
and the ‘clink’ of glasses at lunchtime.
For those that prefer to forget their cars for the holiday
the location is ideal being within walking distance of
all the facilities of the village. On the other hand Vence is
only 7kms away and has the facilities of a thriving town
together with excellent restaurants, convenient parking,
and two good supermarkets.
Nice airport is 14 kms;
beaches are within 14 kms: golf at 15, 20 and 22kms, riding
at 3 kms, and tennis courts within 500 metres. Excellent ski resorts
are 40 kms on good roads. |
